TOKYO-RIVALS // LEGAL
Terms of Service
Effective October 2, 2026
These Terms govern access to and use of Tokyo-Rivals and related services operated by Jordan LLC (“Tokyo-Rivals,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account, accessing the game, or continuing to use the Services after an update to these Terms, you agree to these Terms and the posted Community & Fair Play Rules. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
1. Eligibility
Tokyo-Rivals is intended for a general audience age 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, you may use the Services only with permission from a parent or legal guardian. Do not create an account if you are under 13.
2. Accounts and account security
You are responsible for activity performed through your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Do not sell, transfer, share, rent, or lend an account. Do not create or use additional accounts to evade moderation, manipulate PvP, farm rewards, bypass cooldowns, transfer prohibited benefits, or gain an unfair advantage. We may require additional account verification or restrict account access when reasonably necessary to protect the game or its players.
3. Limited license to play
Subject to these Terms, Jordan LLC grants you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and play Tokyo-Rivals for lawful personal entertainment. You do not acquire ownership of game code, systems, art, writing, currencies, items, characters, account data, or other game content by playing, earning, purchasing, or receiving access to them.
4. Virtual items, Credits, Rival Support, and purchases
Virtual currency, cosmetic entitlements, subscriptions, support tiers, items, account benefits, and similar digital features are licensed access features, not cash, stored value, property, or a bank account. They have no guaranteed real-world value and may not be sold or exchanged for money unless Tokyo-Rivals expressly provides an official system that allows it.
If paid features are offered, prices, benefits, availability, and billing periods will be shown at purchase. Purchases are subject to applicable law and the terms of the payment processor. Except where the law requires otherwise, consumed digital items and already-delivered digital benefits are not refundable merely because a player changes their mind, loses access through valid enforcement, or a balance update changes gameplay. Unauthorized payment disputes, payment fraud, or chargeback abuse may result in account restrictions while the transaction is investigated.
5. Fair play and prohibited conduct
You must follow the Community & Fair Play Rules. Prohibited activity includes harassment, threats, doxxing, hate-based abuse, sexual exploitation, unlawful content, spam, impersonation, unauthorized automation, bots or macros that play for you, exploiting bugs for advantage, tampering with the Service, attempts to access accounts or data without permission, market or PvP manipulation, real-money trading outside approved systems, and using the Service to plan attacks on other services or people.
Good-faith bug reports and security reports are welcome. Do not access data that is not yours, degrade the Service, retain data obtained through a bug, or continue exploiting a vulnerability after confirming it exists.
6. User content
“User Content” includes names, bios, chat messages, direct messages, mail, crew text, bug reports, feedback, avatar links or images, and other material you submit. You retain any rights you already own in your User Content. You grant Jordan LLC a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, transmit, moderate, format, and remove User Content as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, improve, and promote the Services.
You represent that you have the rights needed to submit your User Content and that it does not infringe another person’s copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights. We may remove content or disable links when we reasonably believe they violate these Terms, the Rules, law, or third-party rights.
7. Moderation and enforcement
We may investigate suspected rule violations and take proportionate action including content removal, warnings, communication restrictions, feature restrictions, temporary suspension, loss of improperly obtained gains, or permanent account termination. Severe misconduct, cheating, fraud, threats, doxxing, exploitation, or security abuse may result in immediate action without a prior warning. Staff actions are logged where supported by the game systems, and players may use the available appeal or support process.
8. Service changes, Alpha status, and data
Tokyo-Rivals may change over time. We may rebalance systems, modify content, add or remove features, reset test-only data, perform maintenance, or discontinue parts of the Service. During Alpha or testing periods, bugs and breaking changes are expected. We use reasonable measures to preserve player data, but uninterrupted access and perfect preservation cannot be guaranteed. Keep copies of content that is important to you and that you are permitted to copy.
9. Third-party services and links
The Service may rely on third-party hosting, payment, communications, or infrastructure providers and may contain links to third-party sites. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices. Jordan LLC is not responsible for third-party sites or services that it does not control.
10. Intellectual property
Tokyo-Rivals, its original source code, original game systems, original setting, original writing, original UI, original art commissioned or owned for the game, and other original materials are owned by or licensed to Jordan LLC and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. See the Legal & Intellectual Property page for third-party notices and the non-affiliation statement.
11. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure against every threat, or compatible with every device. Game balance, matchmaking, uptime, virtual-item availability, and future features are not guaranteed.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Jordan LLC and its owners, employees, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, goodwill, gameplay progress, data, or other intangible losses arising from use of or inability to use the Services. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
13. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend and hold harmless Jordan LLC from third-party claims arising from your unlawful User Content, your infringement of another person’s rights, your fraud or intentional misconduct, or your material violation of these Terms.
14. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect users or the Service, comply with law, prevent fraud or abuse, or discontinue the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including intellectual-property, disclaimer, liability, and dispute provisions, remain effective.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the game and law change. Material updates will be identified by a revised effective date and may also be announced in-game. Continued use after an updated version becomes effective constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
16. Disputes and applicable law
Before filing a formal claim, you agree to make a reasonable effort to resolve the issue through the official Tokyo-Rivals support process. These Terms are governed by applicable law. Mandatory consumer protections in your jurisdiction are not waived by these Terms.
17. Contact
Tokyo-Rivals is operated by Jordan LLC. Until a dedicated legal-contact address is published, legal and account questions may be submitted through the official Tokyo-Rivals support/report channels identified in the Service.
