Tokyo-Rivals ownership
Tokyo-Rivals is an independently developed browser role-playing game operated by Jordan LLC. Except for third-party material expressly identified as such, the original Tokyo-Rivals source code, game systems, interface, setting, districts, crews, original characters, original writing, original graphics owned or commissioned for the project, and other original game materials are claimed by Jordan LLC or used under license.
Independent work; no Tokyo Revengers affiliation
Tokyo-Rivals is an original street-gang browser RPG that may draw high-level genre inspiration from Japanese delinquent fiction and street-gang stories. It is not an adaptation of Tokyo Revengers and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or licensed by Ken Wakui, Kodansha Ltd., or any producer, publisher, broadcaster, distributor, or rights holder associated with the Tokyo Revengers franchise.
Tokyo Revengers is a separate third-party work by Ken Wakui and is identified by Kodansha as © Ken Wakui/KODANSHA LTD. Jordan LLC does not claim ownership of the Tokyo Revengers name, characters, artwork, story, logos, or other protected expression. Tokyo-Rivals should not use those protected materials as game content.
Third-party names and marks
Third-party product names, company names, fictional-work titles, trademarks, and copyrights belong to their respective owners. Their appearance in legal notices, commentary, compatibility references, or nominative references does not imply sponsorship or endorsement.
Software and open-source notices
Some software in the Tokyo-Rivals repository has historically been distributed under the MIT License or may include separately licensed components. Those license terms continue to govern the portions to which they apply. Product branding, game writing, commissioned art, trademarks, and other proprietary materials are not placed under an open-source license merely because software components are.
User-submitted material
Players must have permission to use the avatars, images, writing, names, or other material they submit or link. Jordan LLC may remove or disable user material when it reasonably appears to infringe another person’s intellectual-property rights or violates the Terms or Rules.
Copyright complaints
If you believe material available through Tokyo-Rivals infringes your copyright, submit a written notice through the official support channel containing: identification of the copyrighted work; identification and location of the material at issue; your contact information; a statement of your good-faith belief that the use is unauthorized; a statement that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to act for the rights holder; and your physical or electronic signature.
Jordan LLC may remove or disable material while reviewing a sufficiently specific complaint and may terminate repeat infringers where appropriate.
No implied license
Nothing on this page grants permission to copy, republish, sell, sublicense, scrape for republication, or create derivative commercial products from Tokyo-Rivals materials except where applicable law permits it or Jordan LLC gives written permission.
Launch notice
Legal notices reduce ambiguity about ownership and rules; they do not turn infringing content into lawful content. Public launch assets, names, storylines, art, music, logos, and monetized content should remain original or properly licensed.
