TOKYO-RIVALS // COMMUNITY
Community & Fair Play Rules
Effective October 2, 2026
Tokyo-Rivals is competitive, social, and built around rival crews. Rivalry belongs in the game; abuse does not. These Rules apply to public rooms, direct messages, mail, profiles, names, avatars, crews, PvP, market activity, reports, and other Tokyo-Rivals spaces.
1. Respect other players
- No targeted harassment, stalking, intimidation, or repeated unwanted contact.
- No credible threats of violence, blackmail, extortion, swatting, or encouragement of real-world harm.
- No hate speech or demeaning attacks based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or similar protected characteristics.
- No publishing or soliciting private identifying information (“doxxing”).
- No sexual exploitation, sexual content involving minors, grooming behavior, or requests for sexual material from minors.
2. Keep public spaces usable
- No flooding, repeated copy-paste, disruptive ASCII/art spam, mass mentions, or deliberately breaking conversations into excessive messages.
- No malicious links, phishing, malware, credential collection, pornography, or links whose primary purpose is unlawful or harmful activity.
- Profanity by itself is not automatically a violation, but targeted abuse, slurs, sexual harassment, or disruptive excessive profanity may be moderated.
- Use names, titles, crew names, avatars, and profile content that can be displayed safely in a general-audience 13+ community.
3. Accounts are personal
- Do not share, sell, rent, transfer, or trade accounts.
- Do not impersonate another player, a staff member, Jordan LLC, or an official Tokyo-Rivals account.
- Do not use alternate accounts to evade restrictions or bans.
- Do not use multiple accounts to farm yourself, feed wins, manipulate crew events, transfer prohibited value, defeat matchmaking, or create an artificial advantage.
4. No bots, macros, or unattended play
Software or hardware that plays the game for you is prohibited. This includes auto-clickers, combat bots, training bots, scripted navigation, scripted market activity, automated account cycling, or other unattended gameplay. Accessibility tools that do not automate gameplay decisions are not prohibited merely because they assist input.
5. Bugs are for reporting, not farming
- Do not intentionally reproduce a bug to gain or preserve an unfair advantage after you know it is a bug.
- Do not duplicate currency, items, rewards, wins, progression, or account benefits.
- Do not probe for or access another player’s private information.
- Report serious bugs through the official report tool. A good-faith report will not be punished merely because you discovered a flaw.
6. No hacking or service abuse
Do not attempt to bypass authentication, access controls, rate limits, private endpoints, staff tools, or hosting infrastructure. Do not attack, scan, overload, scrape at abusive rates, alter requests to obtain unauthorized results, interfere with service availability, or encourage attacks against Tokyo-Rivals or any other service.
7. PvP, crews, and economy must be genuine
- No win trading, staged losses, self-farming, coordinated alt farming, or match manipulation.
- No exploiting disconnects, duplicate requests, timing bugs, or other technical behavior to force invalid combat outcomes.
- No real-money sale of accounts, wins, crew positions, virtual currency, items, or services unless an official Tokyo-Rivals system expressly permits it.
- Player-to-player arrangements are made at the players’ risk. Staff may intervene when an arrangement violates game rules, involves fraud, or abuses game systems.
8. User art, avatars, and intellectual property
Only submit or link material you have the right to use. Do not present another creator’s artwork, logo, character, writing, or other protected material as your own. Staff may remove content that appears infringing, deceptive, unlawful, sexually explicit, hateful, or otherwise unsuitable for the Service.
9. Staff conduct
Rules apply to staff as well as players. Staff must use elevated tools only for legitimate moderation or operations. Staff should recuse themselves when a moderation matter directly involves their own account, household, crew, close associate, or personal dispute and another qualified staff member is available. Administrator access does not grant permission to harass players, manipulate competitive outcomes, or disclose private information.
10. Reporting, evidence, and appeals
Use official reporting tools whenever possible so the Service can preserve reliable context. Do not knowingly submit false reports or weaponize reporting to harass another player. Screenshots may help but can be altered, so server records may be given greater weight. Appeals should address the action and available evidence rather than attacking the staff member who handled it.
11. Enforcement
Depending on severity and history, enforcement may include a reminder, warning, content removal, room/DM/mail restriction, temporary feature lock, temporary suspension, removal of improperly obtained gains, or permanent ban. Serious threats, doxxing, exploitation, botting, fraud, account compromise, hate-based abuse, or sexual exploitation may lead to immediate severe action without a prior warning.
12. Spirit of the rules
No rules page can list every exploit or abusive behavior. Attempts to technically avoid the wording while clearly defeating fair play, player safety, or service security may be treated as a violation. Staff should enforce this principle consistently and document significant actions.
