TOKYO-RIVALS // PRIVACY
Privacy Policy
Effective October 2, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Jordan LLC handles information when you use Tokyo-Rivals.
1. Information we collect
- Account data: username, optional email address, password hash, account and staff status, and account-security records.
- Gameplay data: fighter profile, progression, inventory or entitlements, crews, districts, matches, training, economy activity, moderation history, and related game records.
- Community content: room messages, direct messages, mail, profiles, crew content, reports, feedback, and avatar links or images you choose to provide.
- Security and technical data: session identifiers, CSRF/security tokens, timestamps, request metadata, IP address or server logs available to us or our hosting provider, device/browser information sent as part of ordinary web requests, and records used to detect abuse.
- Transaction data: if paid features are enabled, purchase status, product or entitlement data, and transaction identifiers. Payment-card details should be handled by the payment processor rather than stored directly by Tokyo-Rivals unless a future notice says otherwise.
2. How we use information
We use information to operate accounts and gameplay, authenticate users, maintain saves, deliver purchases or entitlements, provide chat and social systems, prevent cheating and fraud, investigate reports, moderate content, secure the Service, debug errors, improve game balance and usability, maintain backups, communicate important service information, and comply with legal obligations.
3. Cookies and local session data
Tokyo-Rivals uses essential security and session cookies to keep you signed in, protect forms, and prevent cross-site request abuse. These cookies are required for core account functionality. Tokyo-Rivals does not currently use advertising cookies or sell advertising profiles. If non-essential tracking is added later, this Policy and any required consent controls will be updated before that use.
4. Messages and moderation
Direct messages and in-game mail are not end-to-end encrypted. Authorized staff or operators may access or preserve communications when reasonably necessary to investigate abuse, enforce rules, secure the Service, respond to a legal request, troubleshoot a reported issue, or protect players. Do not use Tokyo-Rivals messages to store highly sensitive information.
5. Sharing of information
We may share information with vendors that provide infrastructure, hosting, security, payment processing, or other services needed to operate Tokyo-Rivals; with professional advisers under appropriate duties; with law enforcement or other parties when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights and safety; or as part of a merger, sale, financing, or reorganization of the business. We do not currently sell personal information for money.
6. Data retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including maintaining game history, enforcing bans, resolving payment disputes, preventing fraud, preserving backups, and meeting legal obligations. Backup copies may remain for a limited period after live data is changed or deleted.
7. Security
We use measures designed to protect account data, including password hashing, secure session controls, CSRF protections, access controls, security headers, audit records, and backups. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Protect your password and notify staff promptly if you believe your account was compromised.
8. Children
Tokyo-Rivals is not directed to children under 13, and accounts are not permitted for users under 13. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children under 13. If we learn that an under-13 user has provided personal information, we may delete or restrict the account and associated information as appropriate.
9. Your choices and rights
You may update information available through your account settings and may request reasonable access, correction, or deletion of account information through official support. Some records may be retained where necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, legal compliance, backups, or enforcement. Depending on where you live, additional privacy rights may apply.
10. International processing
Tokyo-Rivals and its service providers may process information in the United States or other countries where infrastructure providers operate. Those locations may have data-protection laws different from your home jurisdiction.
11. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy as the Service, providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
12. Contact
Tokyo-Rivals is operated by Jordan LLC. Privacy requests may be submitted through the official Tokyo-Rivals support/report channels identified in the Service until a dedicated privacy contact is published.
